On behalf of the Advisory Committee for Disabled Individuals, the City’s Parks and Recreation Department and the residents of the City, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation to you for donating the bus benches.

The added visibility provided by these new additional bus benches gives the City’s Disability Sports Program an enormous boost in exposure in the community. As you might already be aware, this exciting new program was implemented to provide disabled individuals an opportunity to participate in several newly created outdoor recreational activities. The program will not only provide participants with positive interaction and peer mentorship in a safe atmosphere, but will promote a sense of purpose, self development, and community participation.
